Way to Shirdi

ch the holy place of Shirdi, you will find two main roads ( one road coming from Mumbai and the other from Ahmednagar ) both lead you to the path marked no.1.   Then from this place you turn to the left, this road leads to the lunch and dinner place as indicated in photo as no.2.   The road at right leads to the main entrance of Mandir as indicated by no.3.     Route No.3.   can lead you to two places - The Samadhi Mandir and The Gurusthaan. To reach the Samadhi Mandir No.6.   you ought to go through the darshan queue as indicated by route
no.4.   The Gurusthaan is indicated by route marked no.5.   The Darshan queue is the permanent route and in all festivals one ought to take this route. There are thousand of devotees each thursday to pay their homage, waiting in queues. To reach the Samadhi Mandir you may have to spend 1/2 hr to 2 hrs in the darshan queue, depending on the season. But during festivals it takes around 8-12 hrs to reach the Samadhi Mandir. Those who want to build up their spiritual power or attain peace of mind can spend more time here in meditation (Dhyaan dharna) or chanting His name (Jap). You can then reach Dwarkamai No.7.   by the path indicated in red. Also Baba ji's Chawdi No. 8.   can be reached by the red dotted lines. Baba used to sleep in the chawdi every alternate day, so every Thursday Seja aarti is performed here. No.9.   indicates the two Hanuman temples. No.10.   is the place for people to carry out their daily routine bath, wash etc.
No.11.   are the three temples of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha and Shani Deva, these temples existed even when Baba had not left his body. No.12.   is the Lendi Garden used by Baba for his daily routine activities.
No.13.   is the Shirdi Bus Stand. Majority of the buses halt here. There are both private and state govt. buses operating from here. Private Buses are costlier and stop only at important places. Other buses stop at each small stop and their charges are also minimal. Taxis and mini buses also operate from here and their fare ranges from Rs. 50/- to Rs. 300/- per head, depending on the season.
Outside the Bus station, there is an hospital which is maintained by the Shirdi Sansthaan itself. The Hospital is equipped with the latest euipments and all facilities. Very near the hospital is the Khandoba Temple- the temple where Baba appeared first.
Great devotee of Shree Lord Saibaba's Mhalasapati used to carry daily pooja and aarti of Baba. It is very difficult to find such great devotees .Large chunk of working hours of his were spent with Baba and at night also he used to sleep with Baba. But never he asked any favour from Baba.
This is most powerful ideal temple in India where you will find both at one place. ( Baba's Samadhi and Statue of Baba )
In this place nobody will ask you for any money for pooja nor will anybody demand anything for carrying out the pooja for Lord Saibaba. Devotees can carry out the pooja as per their wish and shraddha.
