Sai Mandir at Shirdi

Samadhi and Sacred Feet (Charan) of Shri Sai Baba This is the Tomb or Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba at Shirdi, where His mortal body was laid down to rest after He breathed last on the 15th October 1918, Tuesday at around 2:30 P.M. Incidently 15th October 1918 was Dussehra , 9th day of Moharram and also Buddh Jayanti.

Baba retiring for the day In the daily routine of the Samadhi Temple at Shirdi, Baba retires after Night Aarti (Shej aarti) is offered to Him. (A mosquito net can be seen in the back ground).
Museum in Samadhi Mandir A small museum of Sai Sansthan at Shirdi (housed in Samadhi temple) where an old portrait of Sai Baba and His modest possessions like a long robe - Kafani, begging bowls (tin pots), clay pipes - Chillum, sacred staff - Satka, leather slippers - Paduka are displayed. Besides this there are few other silver articles which were in use in the Palki procession as well as formal worship of Baba in those days.
